| Red Spot / Cherry Angioma |
|
A cherry angioma is a benign skin growth that appears as a small, smooth, cherry-red bump. They are fairly common skin growths that vary in size. They can occur almost anywhere on the body but usually develop on the trunk. They are most common after age 40.
There are multiple laser treatments for cherry angiomas. We use a vascular laser called the Varia or an IPL (intense pulsed light). Usually only one treatment is needed for removal of the angioma.
